The Best Forex Trading Hours

That being said due to the tumultuous nature of the markets those same commodities can drop in value quite quickly. Why can things change so quickly? Well, a lot has to do with the ample forex trading hours that investors can take advantage of.
Forex trading hours essentially run twenty four hours a day. Basically the trading week runs from Sunday afternoon Easter Standard Time until Friday afternoon. Throughout this week of forex trading hours at any given point in the day there will be one forex market open and trading. This is due to the fact that the forex market is basically exchanging the worlds currencies. So though the New York market may b shutting down for the night, the market in Syndey is just getting started, and so forth.

However, even though there are markets constantly open that does not mean that you can simply trade currencies whenever you want. Instead, you actually want to watch these markets to find those forex trading hours that will present you, the investor, with the greatest opportunity to increase your profit margin. So, if the markets are open all the time, when are the best forex trading hours for you?
The ideal time to start trading is when the biggest volume of merchandise is going to be traded. Essentially that means when you have several countries forex trading ours overlapping. For example, from about 8 am EST to 10 am EST you can trade on the Frankfurt, London, and New York forex market. During that two hour slot of forex trading hours you will have access to a larger pool of investments, and there may be lots of trading that can quickly swing the market from one extreme to another.
Basic Forex Trading Hours:
Australia - 5pm - 1am EST
Frankfurt - 2pm - 10am EST
London - 3am - 10am EST
New York - 8am - 5pm EST
Singapore/Hong Kong - 9pm-5am EST
Tokyo - 7pm- 3am EST
Specifically forex trading hours on Tuesdays and Wednesdays tend to see the most traffic which leads to the largest swings in value. So if you really want to get in there to wheel and deal on the forex markets then you will want to pay close attention to those busy forex trading hours and days to ensure that you are watching the markets when the best deals are out there to be had.
