Top 3 Stock Trading Picks
By: Anne Durrell
When you are just starting out to
invest in the market, you are at a big disadvantage because you are on the same playing field as the professionals. There is no minor league for the
stock market, so when you are ready to jump in you need
good advice to prepare yourself. This article will supply you with the top three
stock trading picks for 2009 so you will have the same information the big boys have. Now that will level the playing field a bit!
IMAX
Number one on the
stock trading picks list is IMAX. This movie company has been around for quite a while and I think that they are finally ready to make
the jump to the big leagues. They have just recently ventured from the realm of documentary into big blockbusters. And that is where the money is at. So far they have done well with The Dark Knight and I think they are just getting started. Coming up this year are releases of Star Trek, A Christmas Carol, and Transformers 2, three just about guaranteed hits. Get in on the ground floor with this one and
enjoy the ride.
Johnson & Johnson
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Just recently voted the most trusted company in America in a poll by The Economist, this company has been unfairly dragged down by
the rest of the market. They own brands like Tylenol, Band-Aid, Neutrogena and Listerine. These are the things that people buy even dung a recession. I
consider this stock as close to a sure thing as is possible. They are rock solid in their core business and have
some nice growth areas, like Splenda.
Hansen Natural
The number three on the stock trading picks list is Hansen Natural, the makers of Monster Energy Drink. The
energy drink market is huge and getting bigger. Monster still trails Red Bull, but gaining ground. And you can
buy the stock cheaper than Red Bull so there is a lot more room for profit. Hansen has a great marketing scheme and good sports tie-ins. And Red Bull has been taking a lot of heat for its increasing use as a mixer with alcoholic beverages, a dangerous practice among the younger crowd. This bad publicity will only be good for Monster and for you if you invest in Hansen.
Now of course, nothing worth having comes this easy, so you still have some work to do. You need to take a look at the recent
news stories involving the stocks listed above and make a decision for yourself which way they are going to go. Remember that when
making stock trading picks you need to always be looking at the long term. If a stock dips temporarily, you can always hold on to it and you have not lost anything. What is important is the direction it is headed in the long term. Keep that simple rule in mind while doing your research and you will do well with all
your stock trading picks.
